The Urban League of Eastern MA is organizing the 1619 Project. The 1619 Project is a coalition of over 30 Black and Brown led organizations that are committed to protecting the right to vote. The 1619 Project is recruiting over 400 volunteers to cover all the polls in Boston, Brockton, and Randolph. The 1619 Project will be utilizing the expertise of Mass Vote and the Lawyers for Civil Rights for field operations, managing statewide hotline, and watching social media threats.
