CSNDC’s Resident Leadership program is featured as a case study in NeighborWorks’ Comprehensive Community Development publication. The section focused on CSNDC, which is entitled ” Nurturing Community Leadership for Systematic Change,” begins on page 8 and ends on page 10. The piece outlines how CSNDC has significantly increased its organizational capacity by empowering residents to become leaders, resulting in more community-driven initiatives and stronger local advocacy. These initiatives have facilitated greater resident involvement in civic processes, with many actively participating in city budgeting hearings and forming strategic relationships with legislators.
