CSNDC and Greater Ashmont Main Street (GAMS) came together on March 4, 2025, to host a vibrant and engaging Business Breakfast to welcome the new C-11 Police Captain, Steven Sweeney, to the community. Held at The Great Hall at Codman Square Health Center, the event brought together over forty business owners, community leaders, and residents, fostering meaningful discussions about public safety, economic development, and neighborhood collaboration.
The breakfast was a true celebration of local business, with delicious catering provided by Stokes BBQ and House of Seven Café. Attendees enjoyed great food while engaging in productive conversations about ways to strengthen the relationship between the business community and law enforcement.
Captain Sweeney took the opportunity to introduce himself, share his vision for community policing, and listen to the concerns and ideas of local entrepreneurs. Business owners expressed appreciation for the open dialogue and commitment to safety, recognizing the importance of strong partnerships in building a thriving and secure neighborhood.
This event is just one example of how CSNDC and GAMS continue to support small businesses and strengthen community ties. We look forward to more opportunities for collaboration, connection and growth in the months ahead!
