CSNDC is pleased to announce that we have received a $25,000 grant from First Citizens Bank.
“On behalf of First Citizens Bank, I am pleased to inform you that we are supporting Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corp with a grant of $25,000,” said David Dill, the bank’s CRA Community Development Officer, in an email. “(This) grant is specifically earmarked as general operating support to continue its mission to develop affordable housing and fight for racial and economic justice by building community power, especially of low- and moderate-income communities of color in Dorchester.”
“We appreciate First Citizens Bank’s support,” replied Gail Latimore, CSNDC’s Executive Director. “We will use these funds to advance the work of our agency to build affordable housing, create new homeowners and small businesses, as well as to advance our environmental justice and resident leadership work.”
