CSNDC’s Executive Director, Gail Latimore, met with Boston Mayor, Michelle Wu, at Boston City Hall on February 8, along with other Boston-based environmental activists. The mayor was seeking advice on the job description for the Chief of Energy, Environment and Open Space position. Rev. Mariama White-Hammond, who has held that position since 2021, will be stepping down in April.
“It was great to meet with the mayor,” says Latimore. “It was a very productive meeting. I also appreciate the Mayor taking the time to give me some feedback on several other important issues related to our community.”
