CSNDC is pleased to invite you to the Beloved Women Collective, a civic engagement working affinity group. The next meeting for this group will be Friday, February 28 from 6pm-7:30pm in the Community Room at 86 Southern Avenue in Dorchester.

There is power in women coming together. The Beloved Women Collective is a small community engagement group that will meet regularly for community organizing, access to resources, and peer support. Our mission is to empower women of Boston ages 18 and up to learn how to make change and be the voices for their own community. Change occurs through collective collaboration.

This month, we will be having a Paint & Sip Self Care & Black History Celebration, led by Vanessa Cine from Paint Your Truth.

Paint Your Truth (process painting) is a community-based art therapeutic workshop. We are mobile and curate art-making pop up spaces for community members to be mentally aware and physically present as they engage in self-care wellness. We will draw inspiration from heroes and heroes in the civil rights community and beyond.  There will be Black History coloring books available for those who are not able to paint.

Click HERE to register. We will close registration at 20 participants. Registration is first come, first served.
