Codman Square Neighborhood Community Development Corporation is partnering with numerous advocacy groups, nonprofits, civic associations and community members to put together a collective and inclusive forum for the Suffolk Senate District 2 race. The purpose is to engage whoever is to become our next senators on the issues directly impacting our neighborhoods such as racial justice, workforce development, affordable housing, environment and public transportation issues unique to our neighborhoods. We look forward to engaging the candidates and understand where they plan to focus if elected, where will they invest their vital earmark funds, and which issues they will bring to the statehouse to empower our communities.
The forum will occur August 25th, 6-8 pm at Lena Park Community Center, 150 American Legion Highway, Dorchester, MA 02124
