Market & Craft Fair

Market & Craft Fair

Friday, December 6, 2024 • 4pm – 8pm

&

Saturday, December 7, 2024 • 9am – 5pm

As the holidays are approaching we all tend to go shopping at the large department stores – mass corporations sell mass-made things that often hold no sentimental value. This Holiday season come out to CSNDC’s Holiday Market and Craft Fair! We’re helping you shop local this year by bringing you the best local artisans, crafters, makers and more!

It’s an opportunity for the community to support local businesses by buying hand-crafted goods, gifts with meaning, and some custom made products.

The 5th annual Caribbean Jerk Festival is a family-friendly event that highlights the cultural contributions that BIPOC leaders hailing from the Caribbean Islands have made to the Codman Square Commercial Corridor, and beyond. Past years have included musical and dance performances, and this year will be no different. Caribbean artists, small business owners, community leaders, and chefs serving up Caribbean fare will be celebrated for a family-friendly afternoon in the heart of Codman Square.

This year, we are doing things in a bigger way. To attract even more visitors, Jerkfest will be on a Saturday afternoon, immediately following the Dorchester Farmers Market happening at Codman Square Park. And for the first time in Jerkfest history, local merchants and craft vendors will be on site to sell their local products on the festival grounds. We are also incorporating activities that will extend into the commercial corridor for a day of Jerking and Caribbean celebration.
